monday was the experience of a lifetime. cycling in the pouring rain with some of my greatest friends :) even though my bag was drenched (thankfully not my hp and wallet which i hid deep inside), and my clothes were soaked, i enjoyed myself. a smile can hardly describe the adventure. thank you fourcast :D i'll always remember the nutella sandwiches, the sausages and the showdown with bernard.

after treating $12 for the bowling outing, my wallet was hardly adequate to suffice another day. and that day came. the last time i saw the 6A gang was exactly 4 years ago. that fact made the day very very memorable, considering i spent the remainder of my cash left. $15 ON A PLATE OF FISH AND CHIPS!! plus the remaining coins in my pocket on pool, i had absolutely nothing left. now i truly understand the anguish of being broke. seriously, i can't wait for the holidays to end, this way i can resume receiving my usual allowance :D

wednesday, fourcast came over to my house for our second gathering of the week. my mum bought sushi and old chang kee fishballs for the gang, which they felt was sweet. but ha my mum's only like that when guests are at home. we played powerpuff girls monopoly! i didn't know that existed. haha, the counters are powerpuff girls characters, while the houses and hotels are buildings and skyscrapers. community chest and chance became hotline and forces of evil. while mayfair was the powerpuff girls house! it was cheap fun but i enjoyed it alot, considering everyone squeezing into my hardly large enough room :D

then it was off to my class chalet. the class had originally planned to meet at 10am to play lan, but then hilary and na would kill me. would you? anyway. the chalet was strangely foreign, i've never been there before. fortunately my parents were going to ikea at tampines (i think) to get some furniture, so they managed to drop me off first. what i did there was basically play winning eleven nine 2v2 from dusk to dawn, i didn't get any sleep at all. that proved costly when we decided to play lan the next afternoon, i was literally half asleep staring at the comp. somehow i remember wes staring at the girls playing audition at the lan shop :D

i spent the whole day living on borrowed money. here there everywhere. once school starts i need to start repaying my debts less anyone decides to implement interest. ARGH I'M BROKE AGAIN.

Sunday, December 17

i'm sorry i disappeared for quite awhile.

i see my last post was the 21st of november, and its like the 16th of december now. and i haven't been coming online very often which explains why people think i've disappeared.

nope, i haven't gone overseas. the last 7 days was spent at plmgss, YOUTH CAMP '06! and before that.. i can't quite remember :)

youth camp was a blessing. it truly was. even if i gave you a full review and tell you it wasn't as good as last year's, it still had the same spiritual impact every previous youth camp had. it wasn't as fun, but i felt closer to God. i guess the fun isn't all that matters. and now that i'm back home, it feels like reality punched me in the face, and you wish that you never stepped out of plmgss.

i feel changed, well i hope i've changed. despite the rainy days, the speaker's dry jokes and the early lights out timings, i enjoyed camp. the fellowship, the prayer and praise, and God. now i just have to carry out what i've learnt at camp, which may need constant reminders and a hardened perseverance, but with God's grace i know i will.

it's time to clean my closets for God.
